Job summary

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Driver in Theodore, AL. The Driver delivers vehicles promptly and courteously to destinations, providing excellent customer service. Pay starts at $11 per hour and the role is limited to 90 days.

Schedule includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This position requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to work within a tight commute radius of the Theodore location.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Temporary position up to 90 days and commuting within 30 minutes of the location.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed.

This pay for this position starts at $11 / hour.

This position is located at 6238 Creel Rd Theodore, AL 36582.

This is a temporary position and cannot exceed 90 days of service.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road
• Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles
• Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels
• Ensure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline, if needed
• Complete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely
• May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift
• May be asked to assist customers with directions, car options, luggage loading and unloading and basic policy/procedures
• Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
• A variety of vehicles are driven in all weather and road conditions

Additional Responsibilities

• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
• Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from consideration
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available for Temporary work lasting a maximum of 90 days
