The City of Warren is seeking a Temporary Rehabilitation Inspector to manage multiple rehabilitation and new construction projects under the Community Development Program. You will prepare, review and analyze specifications, cost estimates, drawings, contracts, bid and project documentation.

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of Temporary Rehabilitation Inspector. This position performs project management of multiple residential, commercial rehabilitation or new construction projects undertaken by the City’s Community Development Program.
The employee assigned will prepare, review and analyze: specifications, cost estimates, construction drawings, contracts, bid and project documentation.
They will perform inspections and visual assessments to assure compliance with speciation’s and Community Development Program regulations.
Review change orders, invoices, sworn statements, waivers of lien and close out documentation. Assist in carrying out Community Development Program policies and procedures.
ICC Certification: Property Maintenance and Housing Inspector. Certified State of Michigan Lead Supervisor
An applicant shall possess, upon application, the following education and experience or its satisfactory equivalent.
Pay rate: $38.00/hour
