Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase requests, invoices, vendor communications, and urgent/emergency purchases
• Advise staff on purchasing policies, procedures, approvals, vendors, and compliance requirements
• Provide guidance to the Purchasing Specialist and coordinate purchasing activities
• Review purchasing documentation and invoices for accuracy, approvals, funding, and compliance
• Coordinate with vendors, Finance, Facilities, and departments to resolve purchasing and operational issues
• Obtain vendor quotes and coordinate grant-funded and time-sensitive purchases
• Maintain purchasing accounts and user access and process help desk requests
• Identify and customize financial, contractual, compliance, or operational issues
• Assist with Purchasing Department procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
