Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Indiana is seeking an Inventory/Materials Clerk to support production across value streams. You will manage daily Kanban card releases, PFEP planning, and audit processes, while collaborating with Buyers and reporting to the Material Manager.

Your work includes optimizing material flow, analyzing procurement data, maintaining SAP and Access databases, and performing routine reports. A High School Diploma and MS Office proficiency are required; SAP ERP experience is preferred.

Summary

Responsible for raw material processes including procurement through Kanban, Plan for Every Part (PFEP), and audit processes which are necessary to support production requirements across value streams. This position will report directly to Material Manager but will work closely with Buyers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily release management and Kanban card execution, including data entry of releases (Kanban ordering), reprinting, and tracking cards
• Process supplier acknowledgements and communicate exceptions to buyers
• Conduct regular analysis to anticipate and resolve potential problems
• Investigate late material.
• Manage packaging visual management system/Central storage
• Process various purchasing reports and incident reports
• Own SAP & Access purchasing data files
• Conduct routine Kanban Card audits and counts
• Issue indirect PO's for MRO and service items as needed
• Assist production with home location identification and overall warehouse customization through PFEP
• Administrative duties including data entry and necessary departmental coverage.
• Other raw material related functions may also be assigned

Critical Competencies

• Knowledge of Lean, thorough knowledge of Kanban principles, product component knowledge and assembly processes
• Experienced SAP user

• Professional and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong project and time management skills, as well as math and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with all functions to build positive relationships throughout the entire organization
• Ability to problem solve and the ability to multi-task

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma, required. Advanced degree, preferred
• 2+ years inventory, material handling, or material presentation experience, preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, required
• Previous experience in SAP (ERP), preferred
