Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a temporary Maintenance Associate to keep property units clean, safe, and ready for occupancy. You’ll prepare vacant units, maintain equipment, and ensure a professional appearance throughout the property in alignment with company standards.

This role involves cleaning offices and common areas daily, stocking supplies, and following OSHA guidelines. The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to read simple words and numbers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and basic numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for occupancy and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Clean the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas daily or per schedule.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property or management company.
• Provide courteous, efficient responses to resident and management requests; report unusual circumstances.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Preparing vacant units for occupancy as necessary. Ensure a professional appearance at all times.
• Cleaning the leasing office, amenity areas, laundry facilities and other common areas on a daily basis, or as scheduled by the Manager.
• Maintaining inventory, supplies, and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Providing courteous, efficient response to resident and management requests. Reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and basic numbers. Ability to speak simple sentences.

Physical Activities

Requires frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when using machinery and equipment for essential maintenance tasks, including but not limited to installing outside air conditioning units. Requires frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary for essential maintenance tasks. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
