Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer polygraph examinations for sworn and non-sworn personnel.
• Operate polygraph equipment and calibrate as needed.
• Prepare technical and confidential reports of investigations.
• Explain the process to subjects to minimize anxiety and meet standards.
• Monitor laws and regulations affecting polygraph/background investigations.
• Represent the Sheriff’s Department in related matters.
• Attend seminars and provide presentations on polygraph instruction.
• Maintain records and prepare correspondence as required.
• Participate in management meetings to develop program policies.
