Job summary

Exos is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Clarksville team, focusing on outpatient orthopedic care and contributing to the EXOS rehabilitation system. You will evaluate referrals, perform assessments, and guide therapy plans within regulatory standards.

The role requires a degree in Physical Therapy, state licensure, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential for success at Exos.

Qualifications

  • PT licensure in state of practice is required.
  • CPR certification (BLS preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic PT experience.
  • ATC, CSCS, SCS or OCS certifications preferred but not required.
  • Experience with EXOS through internship or mentorship preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of EXOS rehabilitation system in accordance with all laws and regulations.
  • Review physician referrals and patients' records to determine PT treatment requirements.
  • Perform tests, measurements and evaluations and record findings to aid in developing treatment or training plans.
  • Administer treatments; instruct, motivate and assist patients to achieve goals.
  • Screen training athletes using FMS and EXOS UQ/LQ to determine level and safety.
  • Develop prehabilitation protocol and interventions as needed.
  • Supervise PTA or support staff providing patient care.
  • Record treatment, response and progress daily in company documentation format.
  • Complete documentation and billing procedures in a timely manner per policy.
  • Update treatment plans and reevaluate patients as needed for optimal outcome.
  • Interact with other medical services regarding patients status.
  • Develop relationships with outside medical staff including orthopedic, internal medicine, dental, chiropractic and massage.
  • Assist Billing Service to complete billing in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team! The primary duties of a Physical Therapist are:
  • Assist in the development of the EXOS rehabilitation system in accordance with all local, state, and national laws and regulations, as well as licensing and insurance certification
  • Reviews and evaluates physician's referrals and patients' records to determine physical therapy treatment requirements
  • Performs patient tests, measurements and evaluations and record findings to aid in developing and/or revising specifics of the treatment program or training program
  • Administers appropriate treatment as indicated. Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to achieve their goals
  • Screens incoming training athletes utilizing FMS and EXOS UQ/ LQ screening process to determine training level and safety
  • Utilizes screening information to develop prehabilitation protocol and interventions if needed
  • Appropriately supervises and directs PTA's or support staff in providing patient care and performance of their job responsibilities
  • Records patients' treatment, response, and progress daily within company's documentation format
  • Completes documentation requirements and billing procedures in a timely manner per policy
  • Updates treatment plan and/ or reevaluates patients as needed to ensure optimal outcome
  • Interacts and consults with other medical services with regard to patients' status
  • Develop relationships with outside medical support staff, including but not limited to orthopedic, internal medicine, dental, chiropractic and massage
  • Is responsible for assisting Billing Service, as requested, to complete billing in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred)
  • PT Licensure in state of practice
  • ATC, CSCS, SCS, and OCS or like certifications are preferred, but, not required
  • Educational experience with EXOS through previous Internship or Mentorship program preferred
  • 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
