Accord seeks a Temporary, Part-Time Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist to join our interdisciplinary team beginning in November. This 15–20 hours/week role provides individualized nutrition care, education, and meal support across residential, day, and outpatient programs. Hourly rate is $45/hr.

Requires RD/RDN with Massachusetts licensure. In addition to clinical nutrition, you will collaborate with our chef on ketogenic meals and participate in an on-call rotation every other week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of patient experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with active Massachusetts licensure.
• Provide documentation of completed nutrition certifications or relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics guidelines.
• Advises clients on healthy nutrition practices.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team.
• Conducts comprehensive nutrition consultations for Accord and Ellenhorn clients as needed.
• Develops customized meal plans and grocery lists.
• Develops and manages individualized ketogenic nutrition care plans.
• Delivers evidence-based nutrition education through individual counseling and group programs.
• Keeps detailed client records and tracks progress.
• Collaborates with Accord's chef to ensure ketogenic meals are provided.
• Participates in rotating on-call schedule, providing on-call coverage every other week.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Temporary, Part-Time Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist to join our interdisciplinary team beginning in November. • Conducts comprehensive nutrition consultations for Accord residential, day and outpatient clients, as well as Ellenhorn clients as needed.

• Deliver evidence-based nutrition education through individual counseling and group programming.
• Follows the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Helps clients set and reach their health goals.
• Keeps detailed client records.
• Meets with clients regularly to track their progress.
• Collaborate closely with Accord’s chef to ensure individualized ketogenic meals are provided.
• Available for spending time in therapeutic milieu for meal support and additional questions.
• Participate in the organization’s rotating on-call schedule, providing on-call coverage every other week.
• Additional responsibilities as requested.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, drive a vehicle, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, bend, walk up and down stairs, talk, hear, and see. Employee must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Work Environment: Majority of work is performed in an office setting.
