Performs beginning level general office clerical work in support of unit operations. The work involves learning basic office functions and procedures such as telephone and visitor reception, photocopy machine operation, and other general office clerical tasks. The work requires ability to operate keyboard devices but no experience. The work is performed under close to general supervision of administrative staff or higher graded office staff.
Performs related work as required.
Operation of keyboard devices. May require strenuous physical effort to perform manual work involving walking over rough, uneven terrain, repeated bending, climbing, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or lifting objects up to 100 pounds.
Work is subject to frequent interruptions.
