Job summary

CORE, the recognized leader in Occupational Medicine, is seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Memphis, TN site on a temporary, one-month assignment with multiple shifts available. In this role you will administer treatment for work-related injuries, educate clients on safety and CPR, maintain patient records, and support Occupational Health protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior occupational medicine or ER/family practice experience preferred.
• RN licensure is required.
• Nursing certificate program completed.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment of work-related injuries and evaluates and documents its effectiveness.
• Provides client education in safety, first aid, CPR and related areas.
• Maintains patients' records properly.
• Performs client services related to occupational health and safety protocols.
• Demonstrates a courteous, caring attitude towards patients and staff.
• Must be organized and able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, interruption-prone environment.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and prioritization with limited resources.
• Direct patient care tasks including wound care, suturing, splinting and respiratory treatments.
• Other duties as assigned.
