Job summary

Mounds View Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Service Employee for a temporary assignment. The role runs Monday through Friday, about 4.0 hours per day, with a start date of September 8, 2026 and a planned end date of June 11, 2027.

Pay is $20.02 per hour plus additional pay based on Nutrition Services labor agreement certifications. Responsibilities include assembling food supplies, preparing meals, cleaning equipment, serving customers, and supporting kitchen management as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain SNA Level I certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food supplies and measure ingredients for meals per Kitchen Manager directions.
• Assist with food prep for shipping to other locations.
• Clean all equipment and service areas; wash dishes and utensils used.
• Set up serving line and gather carts, trays, napkins, and utensils for customers.
• Assist with preparation of sandwiches, desserts, salads and other items.
• Serve food to customers and assist with duties as needed by Nutrition Services leadership.
• Attend workshops or trainings for ongoing professional growth.
