Job summary

El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking a Temporary Medical Assistant for our outpatient practices in Santa Clara County. Location: Mountain View, CA. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, temporary role, pay $32.00/hour.

The MA will support licensed providers, review charts, take vital signs, perform EKGs, collect specimens, and maintain the EPIC EMR. Must have CMA program certification, CPR/BLS, and EPIC experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Certified Medical Assistant program from an accredited body.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Experience using EPIC EMR system.
Typing speed of 40 WPM or faster.

Responsibilities

Room patients, take vitals, and document in EMR.
Assist physicians during visits and chart reviews.
Perform EKGs and specimen collection per protocol.
Update EPIC EMR with patient information and authorizations.
Schedule appointments and handle referrals as needed.
