Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 60-90 day temporary assignment at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. The role shifts 7:00pm–7:30am, 36 hours per week, with every third weekend requirement. The contract runs for 13 weeks with potential to extend, and includes a new 5% market pay differential.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted licensure from the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of direct Medical/Surgical nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units, adapting to assignments based on organizational staffing needs
• Deliver high-quality nursing care while maintaining clinical standards and patient safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and adhere to Michigan State Board of Nursing standards
• Commit to a flexible schedule, including every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Complete the full 56-112 day temporary assignment as scheduled
• Work 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period) as assigned
