Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Shop Associate to assist with supply ordering, shop organization, and equipment receiving at the Systems Integration facility in Pittsburgh.

You will handle inventory entries, shipping/receiving, forklift movement, and daily inspections as part of a collaborative team. The role requires basic computer skills, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, with potential night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by daily housekeeping (trash, supplies, sweeping).
• Enter assets into inventory database.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of project equipment and materials.
• Operate NEP forklifts to move gear and supplies.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and log results.
• Assist with barcode practices and inventory programs.
• Assemble products as needed.
• Assist with pickups/deliveries to other NEP facilities by van or truck.
• Maintain reorder levels for supplies (paper, coffee, etc.).
• Maintain metal and wood supplies and notify supervisor when stock is low.
• Support safety compliance and building safety guidelines.
• Support flexible work hours, including nights and/or weekends.

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to assist with supply ordering, shop organization and receiving of equipment in the warehouse at NEP’s Systems Integration facility.

The purpose of this position is to assist with supply ordering, shop organization and receiving of equipment in the warehouse at NEP’s Systems Integration facility.

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by emptying trash, organizing supplies and sweeping shop floors daily.
• Enter assets into the Systems Integration Inventory Control Database.
• Assist with shipping and receiving of project equipment and materials.
• Use NEP forklifts to move gear and supplies throughout the shop.
• Preform daily forklift inspections and maintain clear and accurate logs on such inspections.
• Assist with NEP barcoding practices through various inventory programs.
• Perform product assembly as needed.
• Assist with pickup and deliveries at other NEP facilities by way of van or truck as needed.
• Maintain and request the re-order of all supply levels for the UPARC facilities i.e. (paper products, coffee supplies, etc.)
• Maintain all metal and wood supplies and notify the Mechanical Supervisor when a minimum stock level has been reached.
• Provide support to the team by ensuring building compliance related to safety guidelines.
• Support the facility with flexible work hours which may include nights and/or weekends

Qualifications

• Completion of High School Diploma is preferred; however various combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Working knowledge of computers and application software (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook).
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Become certified to use NEP forklifts.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management skills.
• Ability to be a self-starter and initiate projects.
• Must be able to work individually as well as in a team environment.
