Job summary

State of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Temporary Groundskeeper for the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT). This open position offers a temporary assignment with a starting hourly rate around $16.89 and opportunities to contribute to the upkeep of NDOT facilities in Lincoln.

You will mow and maintain grounds at two NDOT locations, and assist with snow and ice removal during winter hours, with the flexibility to support after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior groundskeeping experience and a valid driver's license.
• Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
