Job summary

Kinema Fitness is seeking a Temporary Full-Time General Manager to operate a high-end corporate fitness center in Chicago, IL for a three-month assignment from October to December. You will oversee member engagement, programming, and client outreach to broaden the center's impact within the building.

The role requires CPT, group fitness experience, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification, with a proactive, detail-oriented leadership style to achieve performance goals and deliver an outstanding

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (Must be current and up to date).
• Group Fitness Experience.
• CPR/AED & First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of excellent customer service similar to luxury hospitality, that is tailored to the needs of the members and client.
• Develop a strong personal training program that will become a cornerstone of the corporate fitness center.
• Create new wellness initiatives that engage and excite the members of the fitness center.
• Be prepared to create participation and usage reports for the client as well as Kinema Fitness.
• Activate other areas of the building with featured classes, programs, or events.
• Create an outreach strategy to generate additional memberships.
• Work closely with our design team to create marketing collateral that is consistent with our branding.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving program, participation, and financial outcomes for programming.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order.
• Must be responsive to feedback from members and the team.
• Implement and grow holistic wellness solutions as well as other wellness related services within the fitness center and within the building.

Job description

Kinema Fitness is a national fitness center operator that provides on-site wellness solutions to corporate facilities across the country. Kinema Fitness is seeking a Temporary Full-Time General Manager to help to operate a high-end corporate fitness & wellness center in Chicago, IL. We are looking for someone who is willing to assist in overseeing this corporate fitness center location in Chicago for a three month duration. This role is intended to start in October, and conclude in December.

Kinema is seeking a general manager that has strong leadership and communication skills with a love and passion for fitness and wellness. Kinema Fitness sets high standards for their team members, but also gives a strong support system to ensure their success and the site’s success.

The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring that we exceed expectations in the areas of member engagement, customer service, wellness programs, and personal training. The manager will also be responsible for creating an outreach strategy to the employees within the building to broaden the reach of the fitness center. These programs will include events, workshops, partnerships, and other services. You will be working closely with the Kinema Fitness’ team to develop and implement the vision and strategy that is created.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding certain performance metrics and goals. To achieve these goals, it is prudent to be proactive, detailed oriented, organized, and innovative.
