Job summary

SERVPRO Team Wilson is seeking a Temporary Fleet Maintenance Technician to support our Fleet Department. This role will perform routine preventive maintenance and basic service tasks on company vehicles under the direction of the Automotive Technician.

The successful candidate will be dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position helps ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable, and properly maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing basic automotive maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ability to safely use common automotive tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on company fleet vehicles under the direction of the Automotive Technician.
• Complete oil changes and replace oil and air filters as needed.
• Perform tire rotations and assist with tire inspections and tire-related maintenance.
• Check and maintain fluid levels, including oil, coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
• Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs and report any issues or concerns to the Automotive Technician.
• Assist with brake inspections and other general maintenance tasks as directed.
• Replace windshield wipers, light bulbs, batteries, and other basic vehicle components as needed.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and routine service checks.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks within the scope of training and experience.
