TSC is seeking a Temporary Electronics Technician II located in Huntsville, AL to support our production division.

Responsibilities:

• Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving testing, analysis, and evaluation of materials and processes.
• Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks.
• Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems, select design layouts, calculate data, and prepare layouts, specifications, parts lists, estimates, and procedures.
• Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics).

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and/or 3-5 years of production and/or assembly experience.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment such as crimpers, dies, multimeters, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
• Ability to assemble, test, rework, and repair according to IPC Standards.
• Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers, and peer engineers.
