Job summary

Affiliated Oncologists in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Temporary Data Entry Specialist to join our team in-office. You will enter medical claims, demographics, and insurance data into our practice management system, while protecting patient privacy and ensuring data accuracy.

The role requires familiarity with medical billing, CPT/diagnosis modifiers, and Microsoft Office. Prior healthcare experience and portal access are preferred; daytime hours with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical insurance carriers preferred.
• Working knowledge of CPT/diagnosis/modifiers and related information required for claim submission preferred.
• Ability to obtain information from hospital portals and contacting patients by phone required.
• Previous experience in healthcare or medical setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software required.
• Experience with data entry systems/dashboards preferred.
