Job summary

Barnes & Noble Frisco is seeking a temporary Bookseller to join our busy store at Stonebriar Mall. You will greet customers, help them find books and products, and contribute to a welcoming, organized shopping environment.

You will gain experience across merchandising, shelf presentation, and responsive customer service while supporting the store team and cash register operations. The role is location-based and temporary with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a cheerful and helpful approach, answer questions, and connect readers with titles and products.
• Assist with unpacking deliveries and tidying displays to maintain attractive store presentation.
• Operate registers and provide fast, professional service to customers.
• Assist with receiving and shelving deliveries and effective backstock organization.
• Develop book knowledge across fiction, nonfiction, and children’s sections to recommend titles confidently.
• Support café team when needed and follow loss prevention procedures.
