  • Report suspected safety problems to the Principal promptly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal or supervisor.

Job description

Under the direction of school administration, responsible for one-on-one and small group instructional coaching sessions with students using a variety of strategies. Also responsible for gathering and charting data related to student behavior; modeling intervention strategies; and assist classroom and instructional support staff in implementation of individual student plans.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Work proactively to support student success.
  • Follow student discipline procedures effectively.
  • Receive and follow written and/or oral directions promptly and efficiently.
  • Help maintain order and safety by providing appropriate supervision of students as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain harmonious and cooperative relationships with students, parents and other staff members
  • Obtain and keep current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current CPI training required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrate an understanding, patient, and receptive attitude toward students.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal or supervisor.
CONTRACT:

This is a temporary position beginning September 14th and going through December 18th. Monday through Friday 7.0 hours/day on all studentcontact days.

Salary and benefits per theClassified negotiated agreement.
