Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline by the start date of the appointment.
• The positions are 10-month, with the appointment of 2 years, and include benefits.
• Successful candidates will teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters, with the option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation.
• The department seeks candidates who are deeply committed to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses across mathematics, statistics, and data science, as appropriate to the candidate's expertise.
• Candidates are expected to make meaningful and substantive service contributions to the department and to its undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Teaching Professors are also expected to engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in their disciplinary expertise and in evidence-based instructional practices.
