Job summary

Governors State University’s School of Extended Learning is seeking dynamic adjuncts to instruct professional development workshops, continuing education course(s), and/or customized training sessions. Our goal is to ensure participants walk away with actionable information applicable in the workplace.

Adjuncts are hired on a course basis; salary per course ranges from $500 to $3,000. Adjuncts are not part of the faculty bargaining unit and are separate from the Faculty Senate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience instructing in the subject area.
• Instructors must have experience designing, developing, and implementing training materials.
• Ability to deliver training material using a variety of learning techniques.
• Have a strong command of presentation software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Instruct professional development workshops, continuing education courses, and customized trainings.
• Develop and deliver training materials and curricula.
• Utilize a variety of learning techniques and presentation tools to engage participants.

Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $3,000.00 per course.
