Job summary

Home Chef is seeking an experienced Tempo Operations Manager to lead end-to-end Ready to Heat production, ensuring top quality, food safety, and on-time output. You will supervise Executive Chefs and Production Kitchen Managers, while driving continuous improvement across shifts and departments.

The role requires 5% travel, strong leadership, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in high-volume food production or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and SQF requirements.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional production and culinary teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and production tracking tools.
• Ability to work in a cold production environment (~38°F).
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Tempo Production and Kitchen Operations, ensuring seamless RTH production from prep to labeling.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams including Executive Chef and Production Kitchen Manager.
• Drive quality, food safety, and compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, HR, Quality, and Engineering on process improvements.
• Own daily/weekly reporting of production KPIs, yields, and line performance.
