Qualifications

• Some work experience, preferably in laundry, retail, customer service etc.
• Ability to organize, lead, and manage volunteers.
• Ability to follow instructions.

• Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates commercial laundry equipment.
• Prepares clothing and linens for use, including sorting, washing, drying, hanging, pressing, folding, and assembling items.
• Trains volunteers in daily laundry operations.
• Oversees volunteers in prioritizing laundry tasks.
• Waits on patrons to provide temple clothing in proper sizes.
• Keeps sufficient clothing on-hand for patrons.
• May oversee clothing rental operations.
• Performs daily maintenance on laundry equipment and cleans components.
• Tracks daily production records.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
