Job summary

Johnson Granite, Inc. needs a skilled templator to template countertops using a digital templating system, read blueprints, and interpret measurements. You will travel to multiple job sites in a company vehicle and present the company professionally.

Ideal candidates can lift 28 lbs templating equipment, understand cabinet layouts, and work with CAD. Digital templating experience is a plus, granite templating a plus, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and measurements.
• Self-driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with CAD programming and basic computer skills a PLUS.
• Digital templating experience suggested, but not required.
• Experience with granite countertop templating & installations a PLUS.
• No experience necessary for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to carry the 28lbs template machine from vehicle to job sites (will be required to go upstairs, across driveways and lift up onto countertops)
• Understanding of cabinets, sinks, appliances and countertop layouts
• Self-driven, able to multi-task and excel in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment
• Experience with CAD programming, knowledge of geometry and basic computer skills a PLUS
• Digital templating experience suggested, but not required
• Experience with granite countertop templating & installations a PLUS
• No experience necessary for the right candidate.
