Job summary

Geisinger in Pennsylvania seeks a scheduling templates specialist to create, analyze, and support provider and ancillary templates and scheduling configurations, aiming to maximize patient access for assigned units.

You will partner with operations and IT to test, document, analyze, and implement scheduling solutions, ensure cadence master files and templates are accurate, compliant, and released in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Experience with patient medical appointment scheduling required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Understanding of template and cadence master files is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize template design and build based on provider capacity and utilization statistics.
• Provide consultative support on slot utilization and templates across multiple departments.
• Ensure templates are released timely to meet compliance.
• Coordinate with operations leadership for optimal template designs and maintenance.
• Identify gaps in template and scheduling configurations.
