Job summary

BYU Pathway in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Temporary Warehouse Worker on a swing shift (4pm–12:30am) to support Church operations. The role involves receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping materials, with attention to accuracy and safety on-site.

Qualifications

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills.
Preference will be given to those with warehousing or related work experience.
Experience operating motorized material handling equipment including forklifts is preferred.
Must be able to read and understand English.
Must be willing to become Church certified within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

Performs general material handling/warehousing duties involving receiving, storing, inventorying, shipping, and disbursing materials/commodities.
Picks orders and prepares pallets for shipment.
Processes materials using postal manifest and meter equipment.
Loads and unloads trucks.
Reviews and interprets shipping documents, verifies quantities, inspects for damage, determines country of origin and language code for international materials, and prepares receiving and inventory records.
Records weight and dimension figures on all new items for warehouse management system.
