Job summary

LHH is assisting a client in Aurora, IL, to fill a Treasury & Accounting Clerk role on a temporary basis with potential extension. The position focuses on high-volume transactional accounting, AP/AR support, and treasury-related tasks within an ERP environment.

The ideal candidate will handle daily posting, reconciliations, cash management activities, and accurate data entry while collaborating with Accounting, AP, AR, and Treasury teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in AP/AR and high-volume transactional accounting environments.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and daily posting.
• Strong data-entry and Excel skills.
• Experience using an ERP/accounting system (any system acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice and payment processing.
• Assist with cash receipts, disbursements, and other treasury-related transactions.
• Perform daily transaction posting and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Support wire transfers and other electronic payment activity.
• Assist with daily cash positioning and cash-management activities.
• Research and resolve payment, invoice, and transaction discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end accounting and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain banking and financial documentation.
• Enter, review, and process transactions within the company’s ERP/accounting system.
• Partner with Accounting, AP, AR, and Treasury teams as needed to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed
