Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Ladson, SC. This temp-to-perm position offers weekly pay, paid training, and a safety-focused leadership team. You will handle beverages, operate a Walkie Rider, and work various evening shifts across multiple schedules.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift license, and 1+ year related warehouse experience. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a team-oriented environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a diverse environment and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measures and quality standards.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction and load/unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
