Munich Airport NJ LLC is a US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport, responsible for maintenance and concession management at Newark Liberty International Airport. We seek a Junior Accounting and Finance Generalist to join our finance team in a hybrid role onsite at Terminal A, with potential remote days as agreed.

The role backs up accounts payable/receivable, builds financial dashboards, and supports audits and internal controls, including SOP documentation and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in Accounting and Finance-related tasks.
• Very strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and modeling data.

Responsibilities

• Back-up accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Create financial dashboards for the department.
• Support documentation endeavors for audits and for internal controls, specifically around process mapping and documenting SOPs.
• Act as a support in project management responsibilities, especially in data management and building timelines surrounding our AP to NetSuite conversion project.

Job description

Munich Airport NJ LLC is an US-based subsidiary of the German Airport Operator Munich Airport. Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the maintenance and concession management at the existing Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and will be responsible for the operations, maintenance and concession management of the recently opened New Terminal A at EWR! We are looking for a Junior Accounting and Finance Generalist that will begin as a temporary employee (on our payroll, not through a third party) and transition to a full-time employee.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accounting and Finance Generalist o join our finance team. This role is responsible for assisting all facets of the Accounting/Finance department as a true generalist. Serving as back-up to Accounts Payables function will be a large part of the role, but additional assignments regarding dashboards, financial analysis, and data management will also be assigned.

This is a hybrid role, with expectations that the employee will be onsite for a minimum of three days per week with the possibility of up to two days working remotely as agreed with their manager. The position will report to the Director of Finance and sit within the office space of Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A.

Qualifications

Required

• College Degree in Business, Finance, or a similar discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in Accounting and Finance-related tasks
• Very strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, V Lookups, and modeling data

Desired

• Experience building or maintaining in PowerBI

The base salary for this role is between $45,000 and $50,000 per year. The exact salary offered will depend on the candidate's experience and skills. There is also a discretionary bonus as part of the overall compensation program.

Base salary is only part of our total rewards package. Employees are eligible for them and eligible dependents to enroll in medical, dental, vision and Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) benefits as of DAY 1of their full-time hire date. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
