Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a warehouse associate to move and stock materials using a forklift on the warehouse floor. You will load/unload trucks, pick orders, and assist with packing and cycle counts, while adhering to safety and 6S standards.

This role requires basic math, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and prior forklift experience. Work is performed on-site with active supervision and standard warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English; French in Quebec if applicable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for 100 ft.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Good basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment using a forklift and other equipment.
• Accurately select and stock products for orders and pack correctly.
• Load and unload trucks and verify items.
• Perform cycle counts and identify defective materials.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions and maintain clean work areas.
• Inspect forklift and report issues; follow safety and 6S initiatives.
