Advantage Technical is seeking a Temporary Supply Supervisor in Fountain Valley, CA to lead inventory planning, coordinate supply chain activities, and manage campaign parts. The role focuses on ensuring parts availability, improving performance, and driving customer satisfaction through forecasting, ordering, expediting, and vendor collaboration.

The candidate will oversee a supply planning team, manage POs, backorders, and fill rates, and develop schedules for campaigns and service actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of inventory planning, supply chain, materials management, or logistics experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, SQL, or MS Access is a plus.
• Automotive, service parts, or campaign planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor supply planning team members to achieve operational goals and KPI targets.
• Manage inventory planning, purchase orders, backorders, fill rates, and months of supply.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams to ensure timely parts availability.
• Develop supply schedules for campaigns, service actions, and special projects.
• Analyze forecasts, inventory trends, and completion rates to reduce excess and obsolete inventory risk.
• Generate performance reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Identify process improvements and support system enhancements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve supply chain issues through proactive communication and problem-solving.
