Job summary

SpaceX in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a Shuttle Driver (Temporary) to transport passengers safely between sites and ensure proper loading, unloading and vehicle security.

This temporary 3‑month assignment requires a Texas CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of professional passenger driving or 6+ months contracting driving experience with SpaceX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional experience driving people in a commercial setting OR 6+ months of contracting driving experience at SpaceX.
• Valid Texas Class B (or Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Transport people in a shuttle between locations.
• Safely load and unload cargo as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring shuttle contents are secured for safe and undamaged delivery to destination.
• Avoiding high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible.
• Monitor service records of the vehicle when driving and report all problems to manager immediately.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of vehicle and refueling when low.
