Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Associate for the Matthews, NC area. You will deliver excellent customer service, process transactions, and maintain a clean store environment while supporting various departments as needed.

Responsibilities include promoting credit programs, adhering to loss prevention standards, and contributing to store safety and a positive team culture. Prior retail experience is preferred and a flexible schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas as needed to meet business goals.
• Accurately process purchases, returns, and count change according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs and support store initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
• Support safety, labor policies, and shrink reduction goals.
