Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Temporary Process Development & Manufacturing Specialist II to join the Customer Development team. You will produce research and clinical grade components by setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, performing wet chemistry, and documenting actions with Good Documentation Practices.

You will mentor new team members, onboard procedures for new equipment, and drive process improvements while adhering to cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Science).
• 5+ years of industry experience in biotech/pharma labs.
• Experience with HPLC purification, oligonucleotide synthesis, and mRNA workflows.
• Experience drafting, editing, implementing and executing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Produce research and clinical grade components and products.
• Prepare for production by reviewing schedules, clarifying specifications, calculating requirements and assembling materials.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow SOPs.
• Write, execute and review batch records; maintain quality documents.
