Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking several skilled forklift operators for a temporary role in NE Des Moines. The position runs through April/May with first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Compensation is $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, material handling, inventory, and light warehouse tasks. Safety and reliability are essential. Candidates should have at least 2 years of sit-down forklift experience, the ability to lift 50–60 pounds, and proficiency with alphanumeric

Qualifications

• 2 years of sit down forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to read alphanumeric labels with high accuracy.
• Prioritizes safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads, unloads, moves and stacks product using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Uses warehouse management system and maintains work documents.
• Safely picks, weighs, inventories or tags products and materials.
• Loads outbound freight and receives inbound loads.
• Stages material within designated areas.
• Inspects equipment and performs basic maintenance.
• Checks trailers prior to loading or unloading freight.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of work areas.
• Split duties: 50% forklift, 50% warehouse tasks
