Job summary

Goodwill Gulf Coast is seeking a friendly Cashier Trainee to join our Foley, AL store. You will handle transactions, assist donors and customers, and help with merchandising while learning daily store operations.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, balancing drawers, greeting shoppers within seconds, promoting the donation program, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. This temporary position offers hands-on experience. Shifts include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Class donor and customer service, greet customers and offer information.
• Operate cash register, receive payments and record sales.
• Balance cash drawers with minimal discrepancies.
• Encourage donations through the change round up program.
• Keep dressing rooms clean and return items to proper racks.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and backroom.
• Assist with merchandising and stock transfers as directed.
