The ideal candidate has 3 years of AP experience (or 2 years with 2 accounting courses) and may hold an Associate’s Degree in Business or related field. Strong data entry and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of Accounts Payable experience OR Two years of Accounts Payable experience AND Two courses in Accounting.
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs day to day management of all payment cycle activities and provides efficient customer service.
• Resolves problems associated with payables transactions.
• Maintains vendor records and ensures adherence to company policy or procedure and federal regulations.
• Audits payables related transactions for completeness, accuracy and adherence to policies and regulations.
• Enters data from transactions into the financial system.
• Verifies and calculates extensions and totals on invoices and applies discounts when applicable.
