Job summary

Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks an experienced TEM/ FIB prep technician to support advanced electron microscopy in its OR TEM Auto Prep team. You will prepare ultra-thin specimens and perform TEM analysis to aid process development, product qualification, and failure analysis, using dual-beam FIB systems and TEM imaging equipment.

You will contribute to lab operations, maintain records, and continuously upgrade your skills through hands-on training and collaboration with peers in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or an Associate's with significant lab/manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with FIB systems and TEM imaging equipment is required.
• Experience with sample preparation techniques and lab protocols is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities like fabrication, process integration, and failure analysis.
• Prepare samples or capture imaging using advanced FIB and TEM tools.
• Follow general instructions and resolve non-standard problems with judgment.
• Maintain records and reports for lab activities per protocols.
• Upgrade skills through hands-on training and collaboration with peers.
• Participate in lab sustaining efforts and tool maintenance.
