Altabank, a Division of Glacier Bank, is seeking a Part-time Teller/New Accounts Representative at our Heber branch. You will assist customers with financial transactions, recommend banking products, and resolve inquiries with a focus on friendly, accurate service. The role includes opening/closing shifts and complying with banking regulations.

The entry rate for this position is $17.00+ per hour, with compensation reviewed individually. Schedule is M-F 12-6.

Qualifications

• At least six months of similar or related experience preferred.

About The Role

Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Part-time Teller/New Accounts Representative for our Heber branch.

To assist customers and potential customers providing friendly, accurate and timely assistance. Recommends and explains banking services and products to clients based on their needs, presenting solution-based banking services and products, and assists with client inquiries and complaint resolution. Assists customers with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and process customer financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, cashier's checks, fund transfers and sell gift cards. Maintain and balance cash or teller drawer daily, while adhering to assigned transaction limits.
• Become proficient in the Bank's products and services enabling you to provide solution-based banking services and products for the customer needs.
• Resolve customer concerns that are within your authority and escape to appropriate manager when needed. Answer phones, process wire transfers, stop payments, check orders, and create debit cards.
• Provide excellent customer service and deepen relationships by following the established customer service standards.
• Open and close branch as schedule deems necessary.
• Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual learners' responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to their supervisor for further clarification or additional training.
• Will actively work on the Summit Progression Program to learn and develop assigned skills and increase proficiency.
• Adhere to Altabank Core Values.
• Keeps management appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
• Participate in Community Service and Bank sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of the Altabank.

• Regular, predictable and timely attendance in order to accomplish, among other things, in-person contact with customers.

The entry rate for this position is $17.00+/hour. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
