Job summary

First Flight Credit Union is seeking a Teller I to be the friendly face helping members move money and understand their options. You will welcome members, balance cash drawer daily, and identify opportunities for referrals while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Hours are 11 am–5 pm, up to 28 hours per week. The role emphasizes service excellence, teamwork, and accurate cash handling in a friendly branch environment. High school diploma required; prior cash handling is a plus.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of cash handling and customer service experience.
  • Credit union/bank teller experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Comfort navigating a Windows-based system.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to identify member needs.
  • Accurate cash handling skills and attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Accurately and efficiently process deposits, withdrawals, loan and credit card payments, transfers, money orders, and wire transactions in accordance with procedures.
  • Warmly welcome members into the branch and create an experience reflecting professionalism, care, and respect.
  • Engage members to understand needs and identify loan and deposit referrals.
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily with precision and integrity.
  • Support branch operations through night deposit processing, vault transactions, and additional duties as assigned.
  • View every interaction as an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reinforce responsible financial stewardship.

WORK SCHEDULE

Hours: Range from 11 am- 5 pm; will not exceed 28 hours per week.
