Job summary

Centennial Bank is seeking a Teller I to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately while delivering service that meets quality standards. You will assist customers in person or by phone, balance teller stations, and promote bank products.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 0–6 months related experience. Flexible schedule and light to moderate physical demands are involved; training in BSA/AML may be required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience in a business environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
• Must have basic math skills and 10-key.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Equivalent to four years high school or GED with 0 to 6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Receives, pays out cash, and handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
• Sets up, closes and balances teller station.
• Records sales of monetary instruments.
• Assists customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
• Cross sells bank products and services.
• Follows limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness.
