General Description

Provides a variety of customer service functions, including product referrals and meeting Banking Center Associate Standards. Delivers exemplary customer service. Processes a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintains security of assigned cash, balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Representation: Represents the bank courteously and professionally; knowledgeable of the 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service and applies them daily. Meets or exceeds Secret Shop score expectations. (Approx. 20%)
  2. Product Referrals: Has basic knowledge of bank services and products; refers customers appropriately. Meets referral expectations and uses CRM program consistently and accurately. (Approx. 20%)
  3. Cash Handling & Balancing: Balances daily transactions, verifies cash totals, and documents discrepancies. Meets balancing expectations. (Approx. 20%)
  4. Transaction Processing: Processes transactions efficiently and accurately, meeting error expectations. (Approx. 15%)
  5. Security & Confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality of customer information, security codes, and ensures compliance with security policies. Attends annual BSA and Security training. (Approx. 10%)
  6. Policy Compliance: Ensures adherence to bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations. (Approx. 15%)
  7. Attendance & Communication: Maintains reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance. Communicates clearly via various channels, adhering to all policies and regulations including BSA/AML.
  8. Additional Duties: Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0 to 6 months of related experience or training
  • Prior banking or cash handling experience preferred
  • Proficiency with desktop/laptop computers, basic operating systems, and specialized software
  • Basic data entry skills, familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
