Job summary

Tech Credit Union in Gary, IN seeks a Part-Time Teller (PT Float) to support Lake County and Orland Park locations. This is a union position with varied branch hours and a focus on accurate transactions and excellent member service.

The Teller processes deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other transactions while building member relationships and recommending suitable credit union products. Strong communication and cash handling experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months’ retail sales and/or cash handling experience (financial institution experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic keyboarding and Microsoft Office skills.
• Union position.

Lobby Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Drive-Up Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Working hours will vary to accommodate opening and closing procedures.
Schedule will vary according to business needs.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
