• Handle member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan transactions, funds transfers, money orders, gift cards, travel money cards, and debit cards.
• Perform file maintenance, such as closing accounts.
• Maintain cash boxes at target balances.
• Maintain awareness of cash handling risks and review security procedures for emergencies.
• Know cash handling and check cashing policies to ensure proper transactions.
• Escalate unusual cases to management for proper disposition.
• Assist in updating member addresses.
• Handle required government reporting.
• Have knowledge of CCFCU products and educate members.

Position Summary:

Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for members / non-members. The successful candidate will negotiate checks, accept and disburse cash, process share deposits, share withdrawals, loan payments, VISA payments, money orders, gift cards, travel money cards and amusement park tickets.

This is a frontline position and plays a fundamental role in achieving CCFCU’s Member Journey Experience goals and will float between all of our branches as necessary.

*This position is part of the Saturday rotation schedules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle member account transactions including, but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, loan transactions, funds transfers, sale of money orders, gift cards, travel money cards, and amusement park tickets, Series EE Bonds as well as debit cards.
• Perform file maintenance. (i.e. closing of an account)
• Maintain cash boxes at predetermined dollar level.
• Maintain constant recognition of the vulnerability of cash handling and check negotiations; periodically reviews security procedures and maintains high awareness of actions to take during and after criminal attack or other emergency situations.
• Must possess demonstrated knowledge of all cash handling and check cashing policies and procedures to ensure proper transaction execution.
• Call unusual circumstances and exceptional cases to management’s attention to obtain approval for proper disposition.
• Assist in keeping address changes up to date.
• Responsible for processing required government reporting.
• Has a thorough knowledge of products and services and educates members of their availability.
