Our employees are the critical element in fulfilling the First Florida Credit Union mission of being a thriving credit union creating value for members by deepening relationships with current members and engaging with potential members.Also, First Florida Credit Union recognizes the importance of benefits that provide financial security for our employees and their families and is committed to providing a competitive benefits package to eligible employees.Role:Assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sell money orders and travelers checks to members; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services and direct members to appropriate department for specific information and service.Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Report any overage or shortage to supervisor. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.Cross-sell and open share accounts, checking accounts and other Credit Union services.Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.Responsible for compliance with Credit Union policies including the Bank Secrecy Act and Customer Identification Program.Perform other related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:Adhere to the Credit Union Service Standards in all interactions both internal and external as well as employing CML (Creating Member Loyalty) skills.Adhere to the monetary outages policy including vault/teller outages and credit union losses due to policy or procedure violations as established by management.Ensure minimal member impacting errors per review period, which includes posting errors, follow up with external/internal members, etc.Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services to members as established by management.Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.Troubleshoot and resolve member inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain a working knowledge of the Credit Union's established policies and procedures.Knowledge and Skills:Experience One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.Other Skills Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
