Midland States Bank is hiring a full-time Teller in Roscoe, IL. You will provide customer service, handle cash and deposits, process transactions, and support ATM operations. You will balance your cash drawer and help customers with banking needs while promoting bank products.

Responsibilities

• Receive cash and checks for deposit, verify amounts and review checks for fraud.
• Cashes checks per bank policy and enters transactions into the system.
• Assist customers with transactions and ATM operations; balance cash drawer daily.
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies to supervisor as needed.
• Identify product needs through needs-based questioning and refer to partners.
• Serve as relief/backup teller at other Midland States Bank locations.
• Complete learning activities promptly and participate in weekly huddles and coaching.
• Occasional travel to market locations as needed; support of internal/external customers.

Incentives and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.***Teller** **Starting Pay: $18.00/hr** **Position Summary***Provides customer service, processing both business and individual banking transactions; manages a cash drawer, cross-sells bank services. Responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions. Trial balances cash drawer throughout the day. Balances and rolls the drawer for the day at close of shift, comparing the balance to the system balance. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.***Primary Accountabilities*** Institutional knowledge of banking.* Receive cash and checks for deposit, verifying amounts, looking at endorsements and reviewing checks for possible fraud including holds* Examines cash carefully to guard against counterfeit bills.* Cashes checks for customers in accordance with bank policy.
