Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a teller to handle cash operations, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and ATM support. You will contribute to accurate cash management and provide excellent client service in a branch setting.

The role emphasizes adherence to audit policies, cross-selling of bank products, and ongoing training to stay current with regulatory requirements. A high school diploma or GED and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and accuracy skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with accurate cash controls following audit policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.).
• Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM transactions.
• Assist in verification of deposits at night and lobby depository.
• Assist with dual control vault responsibilities.
• Stay informed of operational updates to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve client issues promptly.
• Assist clients with select service needs to enhance overall service quality.
• Attend training and product knowledge sessions to improve client service and cross-sell opportunities.
• Promote bank products and services to strengthen client relationships.
• Comply with bank regulations, internal controls, and the First Horizon code of ethics.

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payment transactions for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, municipal coupons, money orders, etc.).
• Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM(s), including the processing of all entries.
• Assist in the verification of deposits in the night and lobby depository.
• Assist with the dual control vault responsibilities.
• Stay informed of all operational updates and changes to ensure compliance with all current guidelines.
