State Bank of Southern Utah is seeking a part-time Teller in Utah to join our friendly team. You will process deposits and withdrawals, balance cash drawers, and deliver exceptional customer service while identifying financial solutions for customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently
• Balance and maintain your cash drawer in accordance with bank policies
• Assist customers with account-related questions and everyday banking needs
• Identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate bank products and services
• Print replacement debit cards and assist with related services
• Resolve customer concerns and provide solutions whenever possible
• Communicate effectively with customers in person and over the phone
• Monitor for unusual transactions, potential fraud, scams, or suspicious activity and follow established reporting procedures
• Support branch operations and assist with additional duties as needed

This position is Part-Time at 20 hrs/week, Monday-Friday 10:30-2:30

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Six months of cash-handling experience
• Ability to pass a credit and background check

Preferred

• One or more years of cash-handling experience
• One or more years of customer‑facing experience
• Previous banking experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus
